“I’ve never enjoyed the color red,” says artist William Vergason. “It’s a robust color–it demands your attention. I have a hard time working with it” This series explores the possibilities of red. With a focus on Cadmium Red, it exemplifies works that experiment with different uses and techniques. “The goal was to create a series that takes advantage of such a powerful color. I want these pieces to stand out.”
